April’s Moon Adventures

A fiery flow to open your hips, tone your core, and get you sweating!

(hips, core, hamstrings)

Create harmony and balance both on and off the mat 🙂 How yoga poses can create happy relationships! You’ll work on finding your center and strengthening your core! Stabilize those supportive muscles and discover that you can enjoy yourself even in the most challenging of moments! 🙂

A practice to wake you up.

Create strong roots and an open heart to connect with your internal radar. Flow through standing poses to open your hips. Add in creative arm poses to facilitate sweet and gentle heart openers.

(hip openers, standing poses, shoulders, neck)

Great for Afternoon or Evening

A totally sweet supine class! Great for when you’re legs are exhausted and you just want to do Savasana. Lose the aches in your hips and get your creative juices flowing!! This is also great if you’ve injured your foot or ankle and are trying to avoid weight bearing.

(hips, supine, super relaxing, hamstrings)

Wild Wonderful Wacky Yoga – Intermediate to Advanced Practice

Cultivate the ability to stand firm in your beliefs, practicing the “I Am”/”Ham Sa”  mantra, and open to guidance. Create a strong base in your feet and legs while you flow with great ease in the upper body. Standing and supine heart openers like half moon, sugar cane, revolved half moon.

(total hip opener, hamstrings, quadriceps, outer hips, inner thighs, legs)

* Remember this is an Intermediate/Advanced class designed for the yogi who has been playing for a little while and wants to up the ante and learn some of the finer details on how to get into poses like crane, headstand, upward facing bow, wild thing……..and much more!

(Please remember to listen to your breath and body as you do any practice. When you are trying to determine your ‘edge’ – how far you should go in a pose, pay attention to your breath. If you are holding your breath, grasping for it, or breathing short, quick breaths come out of the pose – you’re pushing too hard. The goal is to breathe even, steady breaths in all that you do. They may not always be deep but they are steady.)
