Day 16 – Restorative

Open Up Those Sides!  Welcome to Day 16!  


You have created so much opening and space for yoga in your life.  I am so proud of you!!  You have made an incredible commitment to bring flexibility, strength, and peace into your life.  Take a moment to look back at all you have accomplished in 3 weeks!

What has been the biggest aha moment for you so far?  

Plan for about 7 minutes with today’s restorative practice.  And grab a couple of thick blankets, towels, or pillows.




Once we complete our 21 day journey together I will leave up the pages and videos for an extra week.  Then on May 8th they all will be coming down.  If you’ve missed a practice, or 2, or 3 🙂 sneak them in on the weekends, or the extra week we’ll have.  Because they’ll be going away May 8th.  The next challenge will be in July.  So mark your calendars!  It will be great to take with you on vacation!

In 3 weeks time, 15 practices, what have you discovered?

Do you feel more flexible?  Stronger?  Centered?  Even if you’ve missed some practices or only squeezed in a few of the challenges, any practice will make a shift for us.  A restorative pose to unwind with at the end of the week will restore energy.  A vinyasa flow of yoga poses will drop the fatigue that seems to hang around us during the day.  The breath work of pranayama will calm the anxious thoughts that rattle around our head.  Pause and reflect.  What has this challenge brought to your attention?

Here’s mine: I feel immersed and focused.  Ultimately present and filled with gratitude for your presence here.

Quick Reminder:

The intention for this 21 Day Challenge series is to do something everyday Monday – Friday.  We are focusing on doing the basics at home and getting into a rhythm.  Pace and modify according to you needs.  I will always give you options.  Remember you know yourself best, listen to your instincts.
