Remember Your Heart

Doing yoga brings a twinkle to your eyes, a freedom to your body, and a spring to your step.
Know that every time you take these moments to do some yoga, you are making the world a better place!
Really.
Because you are taking time to connect movement and breath. And this action will guide you to your heart’s center where you will reconnect and remember who you are. A being of love. Of peace. Of hope.
Sure the world might be spinning around you. Commercials may be distracting you, e-mails are waiting, traffic is crazy, and oops you think you may have just missed out on that really big thing.
But these things are merely distractions that pull you away from who you are. Deep down in your heart there is no question as to your identity and you know that ultimately there is a Divine Timing to things.
So when it looks like things aren’t working out and you’ve forgotten who you are:
- Take a deep breath.
- Visualize a ladder that runs from the back of your nose to the center of your chest.
- See a tiny version of yourself standing at the top.
- With every exhale take a step down the ladder.
- Work your way to your heart center.
- Center yourself in remembrance of you are.
- See the tiny version of you sitting in the center of your chest, your heart center.
- ‘Unaffected’ by the kaleidoscope of worldly chaos.
- It is here that you can connect with the flow of Life, with the Divine.
