Build a Consistent Home Practice

April 1 – 29, 2016

 

Day 19 – Vinyasa

Open your heart!  Welcome to Day 19!  

 

We only have 2 more days of this challenge left!!  Congratulations on the commitment you’ve made to your health and well being.  You are making a difference in your life and those around you.  Because the yogis knew that the way we feel physically and even the way we hold ourselves will affect our mindset and attitude.  Your family members should be thrilled that you’re doing yoga 🙂  I have some students whose husbands insist they make time for their practice 🙂  Those busters 🙂  Their heart’s are in a very good place.

Think of the happy people you know.  How do they carry themselves?  Are they rounded through their shoulders and back?  Do they take heavy steps?

To be able to see the goodness in life with more ease let’s play with opening our shoulders and chest.  Because tension has a way of sneaking in there and making us feel grumpy.  Here’s to the sunny side of life and opening our hearts.  

I’ll see you on the mat.

 

Plan for about 22 minutes with today’s vinyasa practice.  Grab a seat!

 

 

PLEASE NOTE:

Once we complete our 21 day journey together I will leave up the pages and videos for an extra week.  Then on May 8th they all will be coming down.  If you’ve missed a practice, or 2, or 3 🙂 sneak them in on the weekends, or the extra week we’ll have.  Because they’ll be going away May 8th.  The next challenge will be in July.  So mark your calendars!  It will be great to take with you on vacation!

The intention for this 21 Day Challenge series is to do something everyday Monday – Friday.  We are focusing on doing the basics at home and getting into a rhythm.  Pace and modify according to you needs.  I will always give you options.  Remember you know yourself best, listen to your instincts.
